Pan Macmillan is delighted to invite you to participate in its programme of events at the Cape Town Book Fair! Here are the highlights of the programme, and scroll down for a table of all our events – including a wonderful children’s series and plenty of author signings.

Saturday 31 July
- 11h30- 12h00, Children’s Zone: Come meet and listen to the author Chris van Wyk and illustrator Paddy Bouma, celebrating the illustrated children’s edition of Long Walk to Freedom.
- 11h00-11h45, Room 1.63/1.64: Lawrence Anthony, the author of The Elephant Whisperer, takes you through his charming and moving account of how he saved a herd of elephants.
- 13h00- 13h45, Room 1.43/1.44: Join Jay Naidoo, Peter Harris and Elinor Sisulu as they discuss issues related to Fighting for Justice and together take a look at the role of leadership in politics and our future facilitated by Cape Times Editor, Alide Dasnois.
- 16h00-16h45, DALRO Forum (H9): Chris van Wyk, the acclaimed author of Shirley Goodness & Mercy takes us through the journey of writing his second memoir Eggs to Lay, Chickens to Hatch.
